Carnival Cruise Lines Rescues Six Men from Sea

Crew members from the Carnival Vista, a Carnival Cruise Lines ship, assisted in the rescue of six men from the ocean after their small boat capsized near the Dominican Republic.
Timely Response
The Carnival Vista was on its way to Amber Cove, Dominican Republic, when it received a distress call on Tuesday morning. The ship immediately diverted its course and arrived at the scene within 30 minutes.
'Swift and Professional'
"The crew of the Carnival Vista responded swiftly and professionally to assist in the rescue," said Carnival Cruise Lines spokesperson Vance Gulliksen. "We are proud of their efforts and grateful that the six men were able to be rescued safely."
The six men were found clinging to a life raft and were taken aboard the Carnival Vista. They were all treated for minor injuries and were expected to make a full recovery.
